KidBrief is a place for parents, caregivers, teachers and childcare providers to learn from each other. Our comment policy is simple: comments help, as long as they keep kids safe and keep the conversation useful.
Every comment is reviewed before it appears
We read comments before they’re published. We use automated tools, including AI, to help sort them, and people make the final call on anything that isn’t clearly fine. It can take up to a day for a comment to appear.
Protect kids’ privacy
Please don’t share:
- A child’s full name, school, daycare, town, photos, or anything that could identify them
- Medical records, diagnoses tied to an identifiable child, or medication details
- Your own or anyone else’s phone number, email, or home address

What we won’t publish
- Harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content
- Attacks on named people, schools, daycares or businesses (share your experience; don’t accuse)
- Medical, legal, or safety advice presented as fact
- Ads, links to sell something, or self-promotion
- Spam, bots, or attempts to game our systems

We may edit or remove comments
We can remove a comment, or close comments on an article, at any time. Comments on articles older than 60 days are closed automatically.
