Why we track what parents are searching
Search data shows what is on parents’ minds right now. For example, potty training searches tend to climb in spring and summer. Kindergarten readiness spikes before school starts. When we see a topic rising, we check whether our guides answer it well. If they don’t, we write or update one.
How to read these charts
The numbers are not search counts. Instead, Google Trends scores interest from 0 to 100, where 100 is the busiest point in the chosen time range. So a score of 50 means half as many searches as the peak. Also, “Rising” shows the topics growing fastest, even if their total volume is still small.
Where the data comes from
These charts load live from Google Trends each time you open the page, and they cover searches across the U.S. Google reports only totals, so KidBrief never sees who searched for what.
